Our Christmas Eve Services are just around the corner and we need your help to make Lakeview as welcoming as possible!


On Wednesday, December 24th we'll run 3 identical services in our Auditorium and 2 more relaxed fireside services in our Theatre. To make our space warm and inviting, we would love to have volunteers hosting our Christmas Island (where yummy drinks and snacks are served), greeting people at the Theatre or the Auditorium entrances, and helping in the kitchen. We will also need a small team of people to help us take down Christmas Island at the end of all the services (6:15-7:30 pm).

This year we are organizing our volunteer slots to cover the gaps between each service so that we don't have volunteers switching in the middle of the in and out traffic of guests. Each volunteer position will require you to be there 45 minutes before the service starts and stay approximately 15 minutes after the service has started.

This is a great thing to do on your own, with a friend, or with your household or family!

Would you consider attending a service and serving for one?

Here are the roles we are looking for!
CHRISTMAS ISLAND HOSTS:
These folks help fill drink cups, serve treats, and keep the table neat.

KITCHEN HELPERS:
These folks help make drinks, refill pastry trays, and run food to the green room for the choir and band.

AUDITORIUM ENTRANCE GREETERS:
These folks welcome people to the auditorium and hand out the candles we will use during the service.

FIRESIDE SERVICE GREETERS:
These folks welcome people to our Fireside Service in the Theatre and hand out candles we will use during the service.

CHRISTMAS ISLAND CLEAN UP CREW (during and after the last service // 6:15-7:30 pm):
These folks help tear down and put away Christmas Island and some of the other areas that we will have had set up for that day.

SATURDAY, DEC. 27TH CHRISTMAS DECOR TEAR DOWN:
Join us at 9 AM for 2-2.5 hours to help take down the remaining Christmas decor. Santa will bring you extra treats if you sign up for this one ;)
